The property is a grade 2 listed thatched cottage which required a full conversion, a separate garage block and part demolition which needed to be done under very close monitoring of the conservation officers. The full refurbishment was undertaken to a very high standard which included part of the oak frames being sand blasted and brought back to the natural state, the installation of oak doors, skirting, staircase and flooring. Other elements of work included roofing, traditional rendering, heating, bathrooms, full electrical rewire, bi-spoke kitchen, landscaping and mahogany conservatory.
